Livingston School: MAKER SPACE AFTER SCHOOL A makerspace is a collaborative work space inside our library for making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools. In our makerspace we have 3D printers, a glowforge (laser printer), sewing machine, coding toys, legos, tinker toys, cardboard, art supplies, etc. Our goal in the Livy Makerspace is for our students to have a maker mindset of creating something out of nothing and exploring their own interests. The Livy makerspace will provide hands-on learning, help with critical thinking skills and even boost self-confidence. Our students will learn skills that they can take with them after they leave here. I am excited for this new space in the library that everyone can use!!!
