4th grade had an amazing opportunity to learn for the day in Yellowstone National Park! We were able to see lots of land formations and learn all about hydro thermal features! (geysers, hot springs, mud pots, and fumaroles). The best part was having lunch while watching Old Faithful erupt in the background! It was the best day EVER!! #livyrocks

Kindergarten had a special reader this afternoon! Miss Holly Baker from the public library read us some funny books this afternoon! We practiced retelling stories together and she even challenged us to read 100 books in kindergarten! I think we’ve accepted the challenge! 📚❤️

Wyoming Department of Education and Governor Mark Gordon have declared October 2nd Farm to School Day! Here is a peek into a project with community partner, Jo-el Sauers and Sauers Family Farms! The 1st Grade Students participated in a Project Based Learning launch during our Farm to School celebration. They had a virtual tour of a microgreen farm , wrote questions about what they want to learn about microgreens, and worked collaboratively to plant microgreen gardens . The students will write and illustrate observations in their Observation Journals while working through other inquiry based and project based learning exercises as they continue to learn how local farmers provide for their communities. #RIDE #2revolutions #WDE
