🍞🥜 Our 1st graders are learning “How To” writing, and what better way than making a peanut butter sandwich! Step by step, they’re practicing sequencing, details, and following directions (with lots of smiles in between). 🥪✏️

🍋 Our Rise Room students run a delivery lemonade stand on Fridays to practice social skills and counting money. This past Friday, they teamed up with Soda Junction to deliver extra tasty drinks to our staff! A big thank you to Soda Junction for supporting our students and making the day extra special. 💛 🥤

🌱🥗 Mrs. Johnston’s 3rd graders are enjoying a fresh salad made with lettuce grown right in our classroom garden! Nothing tastes better than veggies we grew ourselves! 🌟

2nd graders have been learning about some amazing pollinators — bees! Today, we had a bee expert present to our students to teach us about being a bee keeper and answer all of our “buzzing questions” 🐝🍯

Swing, putt, repeat! ⛳️ PE has been all about golf skills lately, and our students are crushing it!

When you earn a FREE DAY in STREAM you get to make lots of choices! 5th and 4th graders chose Legos, Knex, Robots, Coding, Origami, Clay, Art and Crafts and so much more! It pays to show off your Livy Rocks behavior!

3rd graders are learning about symmetry in STREAM, so of course we had to honor Charlotte from Charlotte’s Web by writing our names in a web!

4th Grade! 🥼🔬 In Science we are learning about the 3 different Tectonic Plate Boundaries. Our sweet treat helped us gain understanding of the Divergent, Convergent, and Transforming Boundaries!

It’s time for our Annual Stuffy Sleepover! 🧸✨

📅 Friday, October 3 – Send your child’s favorite stuffy to school. The stuffies will head off on their own adventure to the public library for a special sleepover!

📅 Saturday, October 4 – Join us at the public library for breakfast 🥞☕ as the kids reunite with their stuffies and hear all about their big adventure.

It’s always such a magical and memorable event—don’t miss it! 💛

🎉 Mrs. Musser’s 1st grade class has had some amazing Mystery Readers stop by recently! 📚💫 🔍 Mr. Paul and Mrs. Ketelsen visited us from the RISE room and introduced us to some of their awesome friends—we had so much fun learning with them! 🌍 Mrs. Piazza shared all about her home country, Ukraine, and taught us about its rich culture and traditions. What a special experience!
