Noetic Fall Math Competition
The Noetic Math Contest is a semiannual problem-solving contest for elementary students in our district. Problem-solving helps students to become better mathematicians, better thinkers, and more equipped for advanced STEM learning and research. During the contest, students are given 45 minutes to solve 20 math problems. This year, 2nd and 3rd-grade students competed at the advanced third-grade level. Fourth and fifth graders competed at the advanced fifth-grade level.
Students receive awards for:
* National Honor Roll - students who score in the top 10% in the nation-
* Team Winner - the top scorer of the district's team.
* National Honorable Mention - students who perform in the top 50% in the nation.
