We want to let you know about an important change to our drop-off and pick-up procedures for the upcoming school year. These updates are designed to improve traffic flow, enhance student safety, and include the addition of a crossing guard on the west side of our building.
🚗 Morning Drop-Off (Kiss ‘N Go)
New Location: West side of the building, near the 4th and 5th grade doors on 11th Street.
Pull up to the designated crosswalk and drop your student off.
Students will go directly to the playground for recess or inside for breakfast.
Please do not use the front circle drive on 12th Street for drop-off.
🚗 Afternoon Pick-Up (Kiss ‘N Go)
New Location: On the west side of the building, near the 4th and 5th grade doors.
Cars should line up along the sidewalk on 11th street and then to Meadow Ave.
After your child has entered your vehicle you will continue to the north on 11th street.
Please review the map/graphic provided for detailed traffic flow instructions.
🚌 Bus Area
New Location: North side of the building on Alpine Street.
No car parking will be allowed in this area before or after school.
🏞 Playground Pick-Up
If you are meeting your child at the north or south playground and getting out of your vehicle:
Do not park on the north side of Meadow Avenue or the east side of 11th Street.
🕒 All Other Pick-Ups & Drop-Offs (During School Hours)
Between 8:10 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., all other student drop-offs and pick-ups should be done at the front of the building through the main office.
Parents/guardians must check in at the office during these hours.
🏫 CMS/CHS Morning Pick-Up
Students heading to CMS or CHS will be picked up in the same location as last year at 7:25am. The vestibule on the west side of the building, 4th and 5th grade doors.
We know changes can take time to adjust to, but these updates will help keep our students safe and our traffic flow running smoothly. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we begin this new process.
