How do I report an absence?

To report a student absence, please call the school between 7:45 and 8:45 a.m. If a teacher marks a student absent, and we do not receive a call from home reporting the absence, the office will call the parent or guardian on file. If we are unable to reach you, we will contact the emergency contacts listed on your child’s information sheet. For more information please see the student handbook.

What if my child misses the bus?

Buses depart between five and 10 minutes after dismissal. Students should report immediately to the bus loading zones after dismissal. All bus students will ride the bus to Cody Middle School, where they will transfer to their regular route buses. If a student misses the bus, he/she should report to the office to inform the appropriate office staff. A person in the office will contact the parent or guardian for further instructions.
