There’s always something going on at Livingston, and we want to share all the great news with you. We will keep this page updated with important announcements, news stories, and student shout-outs. Please check back often, and help us celebrate our students’ many achievements.

Picture Day

Thompson Portrait Studio, formerly Pistachio Alley, will take individual pictures for grades K-2 on Wednesday, August 28. Pictures for grades 3-5 are on Thursday, August 29. We have attached a copy of the picture packet below. You may pick up picture forms at the open house on August 22. Payment is due on picture day. *All students will get their picture taken, regardless if you purchase a packet or not.

Online Registration

For the 2019–20 school year, we will be doing online registration for students returning to Livingston Elementary School. You may do the online registration at home or come into the school to use our devices in the computer lab at the times listed below.

  • August 8, 7:30 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 7:00 p.m.
  • August 9, 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • August 12, 7:30 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

It is important for the school to have up-to-date information on students so that we can meet their needs and contact parents/guardians throughout the school year. If you have any questions please call the office at (307) 587.4271.

Summer Reading Goal

Students who participate and read during the summer will participate in a huge summer reading celebration at the beginning of the new school year. We encourage all students to participate in this program and have an enjoyable time discovering the wonders that exist within the cover of a good book.

Our summer reading goal is 20 minutes per day or 22 total hours of reading per student. If your child participates in the Park County Library summer reading challenge, the reading minutes can count for both programs. Please complete our summer reading program calendar and return it to school by Wednesday, September 4. Happy reading!

Open House

Please join us for our open house on Thursday, August 22 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Bring in your school supplies, see your classroom, and meet your teacher. We look forward to seeing you there!

First Day of School

The first day of the 2019–2020 school year is on Tuesday, August 27. We cannot wait for another wonderful year!
